Buy large bottles of baby oil for de-tangling manes and tails and you can use it as a mud barrier.
It can also work well as a hoof shine, particularly on white hooves, ensure the excess oil is wiped off.
Baby oil is also great for getting stains off, but there are a few things you should bear in mind! One, don’t put baby oil on if it’s very hot outside, because it can heat up and burn your horse.
Secondly, don’t use it every day, as it will cause all the dirt to stick on your horse and have the opposite effect!
