If your horse suffers from cracked heels in the winter, try this home made remedy :-
1 Jar of Petroleum Jelly (eg Vaseline)
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
5 Drops Tea Tree Oil
5 Drops Lavender Oil
Finally, add a splash of citronella to smell nice…
Heat to mix well and then cool for 10 minutes.
Rub in every 2-3 days.
